Three million pilgrims have begun marching to Mina on the first leg of their journey of a lifetime to perform Haj today (Friday).

The government’s agencies have made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth flow of pilgrims from Makkah Madinah, Jeddah, Riyadh, Taif and Dammam into the tent city.

The pilgrims spent a day and following night (Thursday) in Mina and later started moving to towardsArafat where the main pillar of Hajj pilgrimage, Waqoof-e-Arafat, will be observed.

During the stay (waqoof)  in Arafat is performed from Zuhar to sunset on the 9th of Zil-Hajj.

Imam of Nimra Mosque will deliver his sermon to Hajj pilgrims in Arafat and the pilgrims would offer Zohar and Asar prayers jointly at Arafa.
