We are approaching the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Renowned as “Hollywood’s Party of the Year,” the Golden Globes is the premier awards ceremony that honors the finest in film and television.
The event will feature the official digital pre-show, “Red Carpet Live,” a collaboration between Entertainment Tonight and Variety, with Rachel Smith and Marc Malkin as hosts. Emmy-nominated comedian and actress Nikki Glaser will host the gala this year, promising a night filled with humour and celebration. I’m thrilled to host the Globes; it’s a night to honour the best in our industry, and, yes, it’s a big night for comedy, too, ” she shared.
The awards ceremony will be held on January 5, commencing at 3:30 p.m. PT / 6:30 p.m. ET. It will broadcast live on CBS at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET and stream on Paramount+ in the United States. Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers can access the live stream through their local CBS affiliate’s signal and on-demand.

The 2025 Golden Globes will feature Viola Davis receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Ted Danson receiving the Carol Burnett Award. Notable nominations include Selena Gomez for “Only Murders in the Building,” Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo for “Wicked,” and Miley Cyrus for Best Original Song—a potential Oscar precursor.
