Suspected terrorists have blown up two gas pipelines in Balochistan’s restive Dera Bugti and Dera Allahyar areas today.
The gas supply was disrupted to several areas of the district after the incident.
An an eight-inch gas pipeline was blown up in Dera Bugti while a four-inch gas pipeline was blown up in Dera Allahyar.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blasts. However the area is a hotbed of separatist activity with several attacks, that have been attributed to militants in the past.
