At least 18 suspected persons were held while law enforcing agencies have recovered weapons and drugs during various search operations in different areas of the Federal capital Islamabad.
On a tip-off, police personnel accompanied by Rangers and intelligence agencies conducted search operations in Ghosia Town, Korang Nala and other adjourning areas of Bhara Kahu earlier today and rounded up 18 suspected persons.
Police claimed to have recovered four 30 bore pistols, 222 bullets and 12 liquor bottles from suspects possession.
The detainees have been shifted to the respective police stations for further investigations.
