After the super success of ‘Main Tera Hero’ , Varun has decided to take up a few more projects.
He’s already completed a rom-com ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ (co-starring Alia Bhatt) and directed by newbie Shashank. Varun Dhawan has rapped for the song in the film, and has also grown his hair for the role.
Preparation for his role in Sriram Raghavan’s edgy thriller begins soon, and the film (produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan) will see Varun play three different generations. Though two actresses (including a senior A List Actress) are yet to be signed across him in the film, Huma Qureshi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui have been confirmed for the film.
In June, he will be off to Las Vegas, to commence ‘Any Body Can Dance 2’ with Shraddha Kapoor.
Later this year, he will shoot for a film with his brother and idol, Rohit Dhawan( who directed ‘Desi Boyz’). The film will co-star John Abraham, and is expected to be a masala film.
Balaji Telefilms also confirmed a multi-film deal is being worked out with Varun Dhawan.
