Security forces arrested three suspected militants, including a Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander, in Balochistan’s Harnai district earlier today.
An official stated that LEAs acted on an intelligence report in relation to the presence of TTP militants in the area.
Security forces also recovered arms and ammunition from the possession of militants.
The arrested militants were being interrogated by security agencies.
Security forces have launched a crackdown against militants operating all over the country after a deadly Taliban assault on Peshawar’s Army Public School on Dec 16, which left 150 people, including more than 130 schoolchildren dead.
Dozens of militants have been arrested during the ongoing crackdown in Zhob, Loralai, Sanjavi and other parts of Balochistan.
