Former Sindh minister and Pakistan People’s Party leader Sharjeel Memon will address a public gathering on Sunday.
Memon had returned Pakistan last week after two years in self-exile for facing various corruption references against him filed by the National Accountability Bureau.
Memon was arrested at the Islamabad airport but later released after showing a bail request granted by the Islamabad High Court.
In order to gather support, he had already announced a people contact campaign after reaching Karachi.
Memon denied rumours that he had returned after striking a deal but instead he would face the courts.
In this regard, a large public gathering has been organised in his hometown Hyderabad. Memon will reach the venue with a large convoy from the Toll Plaza on the National Highway.
All arrangements for the rally have complete which includes a large stage with sixty chairs and thousands others in the compound have been placed. Posters welcoming him have also been displayed. In an lavish display, Memon will be presented with a gold crown.
