Director General (DG) Sindh Rangers, Maj Gen Bilal Akbar reiterated Rangers are authorized to take all measures including targeted operations like Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) which is vested by the Apex Committee.
While talking to local news channel “Samaa TV” DG Rangers said “We are not overstepping our authority. We are only doing our job. And we have no plans to victimize any political party but bring the perpetrators to the justice. None of the wrongdoers will be spared,”

Discussing about the Rangers raid at SBCA office, DG Ranger said “Our raid on SCBA office was based on intelligence that a suspect named Yasir is running a network of terrorism in there,”
DG Rangers further confirmed that Yasir is in Rangers custody, apart from terrorism, he was also leading a wing of four corrupt officers, involved in misappropriation of government land.
