Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman, Asif Ali Zardari said on Thursday that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is under training in London adding that he is still in his youth and needs to mature before he is re-launched on the political stage.

Addressing the media in Karachi at the Bilawal House on Thursday, the former president touched upon many important issues including the situation in Yemen as well as politics in Pakistan. He reiterated his party’s stance that there should be no differences between Muslim states. He added, that his party’s central executive committee has decided to send party-level delegations to other Muslim countries to cement better ties.

Zardari told journalists, that he has demanded that the government hold an all parties conference on the Yemen issue adding that the government should also take the PPP into confidence on such matters. The PPP co-chairman made it clear, that as yet the government has not shared any information with him.

The former president congratulated Imran Khan and the ruling PML-N government on their agreement. The former president stressed that violent elements must be eliminated from all political parties. He said that there should be no place for ‘rotten eggs’ in any political party but due to their presence political parties should not be eliminated, rather the ‘rotten eggs’ should be taken out.

He urged people to come forward to him with their complaints and offered assurances that he will recommend their concerns to the Chief Minister. The PPP co-chairman stressed that his party has stood by democracy even during the most trying times
