Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said Wednesday that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will hold a public gathering at Lyari Kakri Ground on April 26.
Addressing a press conference, the chief minister said that co-chairperson of PPP Asif Ali Zardari will also attend the rally in Lyari – which is believed to be a stronghold of the party in Karachi.
Shah said the government had spent at least seven billion rupees for the development of Lyari adding the provincial government will start some more projects in the area in near future.
Responding to a question, he said the party had issued a show cause notice to Abdul Qadir Patel but added he is still a worker of PPP.
