Police liquidated two terrorists in a late night gunfight that shook the residents of Rizvia Society, a densely populated neighbourhood in the metropolis of Karachi, out of their sleep.
“The encounter occurred in Khaji Ground area of Rizvia Society, where cops raided a militant hideout following a credible lead. Like always the suspects refused to surrender putting up a fight. The brief exchange of fire got both of them killed,”claimed a police officer.
According to police, arms and explosives found in the den of slain combatants of a banned organization have been impounded.
Rizvia Society is one of the neighbourhoods of Liaquatabad Town in Karachi, Sindh. This neighbourhood is predominantly populated by Shiite Muslims.
