Pakistan captain Azhar Ali won the toss and put Zimbabwe in to bat in the second one-day international today in Harare, seeking a victory that would clinch the three-game series.
Pakistan made two changes to its lineup following a big 131-run win in the first one-dayer on Thursday. Batsman Asad Shafiq and offspinner Bilal Asif were brought in at the expense of Ahmed Shehzad and Imad Wasim, with Asif making his international debut at the age of 30.
Zimbabwe kept the same team that lost heavily in the first game at Harare Sports Club, giving opener Brian Chari another chance after he made his ODI debut in that series-opener.
Pakistan also won the Twenty20 rubber 2-0.
