Pakistan must not join Saudis in attacking Yemen: Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan stated that Pakistan must not become a party in the Saudi-led attack on Yemen.

In an exclusive chat with the popular news channel SAMAA TV yesterday.  Khan said that Pakistanis living in Yemen would be at risk if we became a party in the Yemen conflict.

“We have suffered enough in joining other’s war. We got 50, 000 Pakistanis killed by joining American war and sending our troops to Waziristan,” he said.

“I am sorry to say that we had been joining others’ war for dollars. As a result, this country paid a heavy price and you all know that,” he said. “We are still suffering from the consequences of previous wars.”

“We must not joint this war. Iran is our neighbor and Saudi Arabia is a friend. We should try to negotiate a ceasefire.”
