Several terrorists were killed as Pak Air Force (PAF) jets pounded the targets in Mir Ali Sunday morning, said Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Five suspected hideouts of the terrorists were also destroyed as well as a cache of arms and ammunition in the aerial strikes, the ISPR added.
Today’s military assault was part of Pakistan army’s ongoing operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ in North Waziristan which was launched on June 15 with the aim to clear the region of local and foreign terrorists.
