Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has stressed on the need to crackdown on terror financiers in Pakistan.
Presiding over a meeting in Islamabad earlier today, Nisar said it was essential that terror financing be stopped for this evil to be uprooted from its root. “This is difficult but not impossible,” Nisar added.
During the meeting details of doubtful bank accounts were presented by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The interior minister directed FIA to remain in contact with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) so immediate action can be taken against financiers of terrorism.
