Two people including a worker of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) were killed overnight and two others injured in different areas of Karachi.
A target killer riding a motorcycle opened fire yesterday night at Amir and Naveed in Nazimabad area of Paposh near Khilafat Chowk, injuring both of them. They were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital; however, 28-year Amir succumbed to injuries on the way.
Amir was an MQM activist. Which is why Party workers in large numbers gathered at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the body of a 55-year man was recovered from Sohrab Goth. He was identified as Abdul Qadir.
In a firing incident in Manghopir, an unknown person sustained gunshot injuries.
Meantime, Jauharabad police arrested a target-killer. According to the police, the gangster is involved in several assassinations and other criminal activities in different areas of the megacity.
