Militants kill 19 passengers in Mastung

Mastung: Militants on Friday kidnapped  20 passengers from two buses en route to Karachi from Quetta and  later on killed at least 19 passengers.

According a senior official of the Balochistan Home Department, armed men had intercepted two passenger buses, heading to Karachi from Quetta, in Gidrang near Kadocha, Mastung, 45 kilometers outside the provincial capital.

An eyewitness told local media news channel , Samaa Tv that “The attackers first pelted the buses with stones and then opened fire on the passengers near Mangochar area. At least 25 armed men forced their way into the buses as they came to a screeching halt and took with them away near 35 people. They killed most of them,”

According to Balochistan Home Minister, Sarfaraz Bugti, the assailants have executed 19 of the 20 hostages so far.
