Major General Mohammad Saeed assumed the charge as the 13th Director General of the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) on Monday.
According to a statement, a ceremony to this effect was held at the Rangers Headquarters, here, where Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar handed over the charge of the Director General to Major General Mohammad Saeed.
The out-going DG Rangers Major General Mohammad Saeed paid courtesy call on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at the CM House.
In their meeting, the chief minister lauded the services of Major General Bilal Akbar and expressed his well wishes for his new assignment as Lieutenant General.
Shah also welcomed new DG Rangers and assured him his full cooperation for his assignment. (APP)
