Use of helmets for “All” motorcyclists have been made compulsory as the deadline set by the Sindh government ends by 12 am tonight.
Motorcycle riders will have to wear helmets as a safety measure put in place by traffic police.
Wearing helmets for people accompanying motorcycle riders have also been made compulsory, including women.
Those who failed to comply to the law will be slapped a fine of Rs.150 to Rs.300.
The restriction has also been imposed on officials of police and other law enforcement units.
Traffic officials have stated that the mortality rate amongst bikers involved in accidents is high due to lack of helmet usage
