Opposition leader in National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah on Wednesday showed his serious concerns at the arrest of former petroleum minister and Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC) Chairman Dr. Asim Hussain in Karachi.
Earlier this morming a NAB team raided the office of provincial SHEC in Karachi and arrested Dr. Asim Hussain on charges of corruption.

Dr Asim Hussain had also served as Federal Petroleum Minister during the previous PPP-led government and was considered a close aide of Asif Ali Zardari.
While talking to media he said “PPP is facing victimization in Sindh. We condemn Dr Asim Hussain’s arrest,” .
