Karachi: After Saulat Mirza’s unexpected video statement on Wednesday night, government has decided to form a new JIT to interrogate Mirza.
According to sources, government has decided to form a new JIT to interrogate Mirza following his revelations.
On the other hand, jail authorities in a letter to the court seeked a fresh death warrant for Mirza.
Sources also added that a team of senior legal advisors are also looking in to legal aspects of Mirza’s strong allegations.
In his video statement from death-cell, Saulat Mirza alleged that he killed then MD KESC Shahid Hamid on instructions received from MQM chief Altaf Hussain via telephone at the residence of Babar Ghauri.
