Ramazan-ul-Mubarak (1435 AH) will start on Monday, June30, 2014 in Pakistan as the Ramazan moon was not sighted in the whole country on Saturday.
According to sources, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is unanimous that first Ramazan falls on Monday as no moon sighting evidence was received from any part of the country.
A meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee for sighting the crescent of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak 1435 AH was held earlier today.
The meeting, chaired by its Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, was held in the building of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) camp office, Karachi.
The sitting of Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) was held in the building of Ministry of Religious Affairs, whereas other zonal committees met at various places in their respective areas.

Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman will soon announce the decision of the committee.
On the other hand many northern tribal territories have announced to follow the suit of Saudi Arabia, where Ramazan will begin on Sunday.
Sources told media channals that clerics in Bajaur Agency had asked the faithful to start fasting from Sunday.
