Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) have started working on delimitation of local bodies elections whereas a report on the steps taken for local bodies elections has been submitted in Supreme Court (SC) on Friday.
According to details, ECP has started trainings of district officials regarding Punjab and Sindh delimitation that would be continued till second week of January.
However, delimitation notification and verified maps of union councils at ward-level have also been sought from Punjab and Sindh governments.
Moreover, Punjab and Sindh have made committees to purchase required equipment for demarcation.
