Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Dr Asim Hussain has been admitted to a hospital in Karachi after he complained of cardiac pain in his chest cavity.
Sources said that the former petroleum minister was brought to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Karachi Monday night, where he underwent several tests and is currently admitted.
A three-member board of doctors has been formed for medical examination of the former minister. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah also visited the ailing the leader at the hospital today.
According to latest reports, Dr Asim has requested for his legal adviser and his family to visit him at the hospital.
