The XI Corps is the main Pakistani formation involved in fighting in Waziristan and the North West Frontier in general. It has been reinforced and also commands substantial forces of paramilitary Frontier Corps
Lt. General Khalid Rabbani is the Corps Commander XI corps. His son Lt. Saad Rabbani is an Army officer currently serving in the Tirah Valley, where fierce battles are going on between Pakistani Forces and TTP, LI terrorists.
A General can easily get posting orders of any army officer, but this brave father didn’t pulled his son out of this dangerous battle even though he is the Corps Commander of Peshawar and Tirah Valley is under his Command.
Rather he wants his son to do what he has been trained for. He didn’t let a father win over a soldier. He is a soldier, and he acted like a soldier when it came to his young son.
This is one of many examples of exemplary devotion, patriotism and sacrifice set by the Pakistan Army.
