A man claims his 8-year-old son has been burnt while being forced by his teacher to boil eggs at a government school in Bhakkar district of Punjab province.
Eight-year-old Muneeb, a student at the Government Primary School in Shaheenabad, was brought to a health center in Jandawala earlier today, after allegedly suffering burn wounds in school.
Muneeb’s father Khushi Mohammad claimed the boy’s teacher had forced the eight-year-old to boil an egg at the kitchen inside the school during which he was burnt. Mohammad has filed a complaint against the teacher at the Jandawala police station.
Meanwhile, EDO Mohammad Ismail said that the matter is being investigated. He said that action will be taken against the teacher if allegations of forcing students to work in a kitchen at the school are proven.
