At least seven militants including a prominent Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) commander were killed and two injured militants were detained as result of a series of search operations carried on a tip off from the intelligence agencies today.
According to the intelligence agencies and security departments, militants have started to shift their hide outs after Peshawar school attack.
According Frontier Corps (FC), three militants including a TTP commander planning an attack in Quetta were killed as a result of an operation in Poi Sharif. Huge cache of weapons and grenades was recovered whereas two security officers also got injured who were shifted to the hospital.
In another operation, a terrorist associated with TTP was killed and two more were injured as a result of another search operation in Sanjawi whereas a security official got injured.
Three more militants associated with TTP were killed and huge cache of arms was recovered as a result of fire exchange between security forces and TTP militants in Pasra.
