Two target killers were killed in an armed encounter with the police in Karachi early morning today, in the Mithadar area of the metropolis.
According to police sources, the dead criminals were involved in the targeted killing of at least 20 people including police personnel.
The police encounter took place in the limit of the Mithadar police station, where two Lyari gangsters were killed. The two gang-war criminals have been identified as Asif alias Qayamat and Amir alias Baba.
The duo hailed from Wasiullah Lakho group.
According to SSP Old City, police team launched the action on a tip-off and recovered weapons including SMGs and hand grenades from the possession of the criminals.
