At least 11 people were killed, and many others were wounded in a deadly attack at a polling station in Ranipur town of Sindh province earlier today.
According to sources, armed persons from the ruling PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Function (PML-F) exchanged fire at Wario Wahan Polio Station in Ranipur, leaving 11 people dead.
Another 15 people were injured in the clash.
Medics say that five of the injured are in critical condition.
Many voters and polling staff had to escape to save their lives; a source told the media.
