‘@Zvbear,’ a social media user of the ‘X’ account, went to private on Thursday following intense criticism for sharing explicit AI-generated images of Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift’s explicit photos attracted considerable attention, leading to mass reporting of the account by ‘Swifties’ and other users. Taylor Swift’s team is reportedly contemplating legal steps against the individual involved.
Newsweek reveals that the person operating the @Zvbear account confessed to creating numerous contentious images and has since made their 83K follower account private.
The individual behind these explicit AI images of Taylor Swift is identified by ‘ThisWasTV’ as Zubear Abdi, a 27-year-old Somalian living in Ontario, Canada. Known for sharing risqué content on platforms such as 4chan, ‘X’, and Reddit, Abdi is also an alumnus of the University of Toronto Scarborough.
Since the Taylor Swift image controversy, the account has seen a decline in followers yet remains active in private mode. Central to this scandal is Celeb Jihad, a website infamous for producing deepfake pornographic images of celebrities.
