Zulfiqar Ahmed, the prominent business magnate and owner of the popular beverage company ColaNext, he has reportedly left Pakistan following a recent kidnapping incident.

According to Vlogger Shakir Mehmood Awan, Ahmed was targeted by kidnappers who allegedly demanded ransom as high as 500 million rupees for his release.

The incident has raised significant concerns about the safety and security of high-profile regional business figures. Ahmed, who has been a key player in the beverage industry, was abducted and later released, although details of his release remain unclear. Following this harrowing experience, reports indicate that he has sought refuge abroad, seeking to ensure his safety amidst the ongoing threats.

The substantial ransom demand points to a well-organized criminal operation, highlighting the increasing risks faced by affluent individuals in the area. The local authorities are investigating the incident, focusing on apprehending those responsible and addressing the broader security challenges this case has underscored.

As the community reels from the news, stakeholders in the business sector are calling for enhanced protective measures for entrepreneurs and executives, particularly those with high visibility and significant economic influence. Ahmed’s departure abroad underscores the urgent need for strategic interventions to safeguard business leaders against high-stakes threats.
