Lahore: A four-member Zimbabean cricket delegation consisting of security experts have arrived in Lahore today to see the overall security situation in the country before tour of Zimbabwe.
According to PCB Sources, the Zimbabean cricket delegation will asses the security situation in Pakistan during the visit.
The source also added that the delegation in first day will analysis the security measures taken up at Gaddafi Stadium to give clearance and a go-ahead to the team for a tour of the country.
After clearance, Zimbabwean team will visit Pakistan and play a series with the hosts at Gaddafi Stadium in a first tour by any foreign international cricket team occurring after six years.
Strict security arrangements were made at Lahore airport on the arrival of Zimbabwean officials. The Zimbabwean guests were escorted to a local hotel from the airport amid heavy armed guard
