Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari claimed that he is utterly sick and tired of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) London-based boss Altaf Hussain’s endless “whining” over issues that do not even exist.
“These day-after-day tongue-in-cheek remarks and baseless accusative rhetoric do not suit Altaf Hussain,” said a Zardari who seemed at his wits’s end earlier today evening in Karachi.
Responding to Hussain’s accusations against him a day earlier, an uptight Zardari claimed the PPP had always kept its word given to the MQM, but the latter never responded in kind.
“I never broke any political promises. His whimpering holds no water,” the former president of Pakistan said.
Asif Zardari also divulged that his party had always done political business with the MQM under two conditions.
“One of our conditions was that there will be no talk about the division of Sindh. And the second one was the demand for cooperation in restoring peace in Karachi,” said he.
The PPP would never let anyone even try to bifurcate Sindh, the PPP leader said issuing a warning.
“Also Altaf Hussain’s negative politics will only bring harm to the MQM,” Zardari said politely urging the MQM head honcho to avoid broadcasting his live ‘rigmaroles’ while sitting in London.
