Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has publicly refuted his involvement in Bhad Bhabie’s diss track against Alabama Barker, clarifying that the viral clip using his voice was artificially generated.
Ye addressed the issue on Instagram, distancing himself from the feud and underscoring his non-involvement in the so-called “AI beef.”
“I’m not in the middle of none of this AI beef,” Ye stated on Instagram. He explained his communication with Travis Barker and emphasized his disinterest in the conflict: “I just talked to Travis Barker. I would never be in the middle. I don’t even know what’s going on.”

The controversy ignited after Bhad Bhabie released “Ms. Whitman,” a track that samples Ye and Ty Dolla Sign’s song “Carnival.” The song samples music and features pointed lyrics aimed at Barker, including allegations tied to personal relationships and provocative accusations.
Following the release, Bhad Bhabie hinted at a remix on Instagram Live featuring Ye’s voice, which was later AI-generated. While Ye confirmed his approval of the song sample, he reiterated that his consent was purely procedural and not meant to endorse the song’s message.

“I just got sent a song and asked if I could clear the sample. I only clear anything because so many people try to stop me. Everything has been very difficult for me. So, anybody asks me for something, I always clear it,” he explained, emphasizing his neutral stance regarding the content and context of the track.
