The Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi will inaugurate the World Culture Festival starting today, Thursday, and running through October 30. The Council’s President, Ahmed Shah, announced the announcement during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon.

This year’s festival will showcase an expansive array of cultural offerings, with over 450 artists from 40 countries participating. Attendees can look forward to more than 100 cultural pieces spanning various art forms. The represented countries include Palestine, the UAE, India, Germany, South Korea, Bangladesh, Rwanda, and Switzerland.

The festival will feature a rich program of events, including 40 theatrical acts, 55 musical performances, and 50 dance recitals. Additionally, there will be 20 workshops, 10 talks, and five fine art exhibitions, all highlighting the diversity and vibrancy of global cultures. These activities aim to provide a platform for international artists to display their talent and for attendees to engage deeply with the arts.
