Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, the Chief Minister of Punjab, said that he will not “wait for a minute” to dissolve the provincial assembly if the Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) asks him to do so.

In a video message on Twitter, Pervaiz Elahi said, “Imran Khan entrusted me with the Punjab government. We stand with those whom we support.”

The chief minister of Pakistan’s most populous province issued a warning to the coalition government led by Shehbaz Sharif in the center of the country, stating that their “government, which expands over a mere 27kms, won’t last for the next 27 hours” if the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its allies left the country’s assemblies.
