A woman and a lawyer were shot dead in two separate firing incidents in the city on Wednesday.
According to police, the woman was gunned down in Karimabad area of the city. Her husband, daughter and son sustained bullet injuries in the incident and shifted to a hospital.
In another firing incident, a lawyer, Syed Mubarak Kazmi Advocate, was killed in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. He was son in-law of religious scholar Allama Talib Johri.
