Yesterday, in Geneva, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz were warmly greeted by a modest group of Pakistani expatriates, all members of the PML-N, though the welcoming party numbered only four.
Despite the small size, the enthusiasm was palpable as supporters lavished praise on Nawaz Sharif, recognizing him as part of a family that self-funds its global travels, finances medical treatments for thousands, and substantially supports numerous underprivileged families.
Among the attendees from Switzerland, Usman Riaz Gul and Qamar Riaz, brothers and local officials residing in Italy, were notably present. They had travelled specifically to Geneva to partake in this reception. Qamar Riaz Khan, a leading PML-N Europe figure, coordinated the group, including Raja Muhammad Kabir, Muhammad Adnan Khan, Muhammad Owais Sethi, and Usman Gil.
The officials had an extensive breakfast discussion with Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, during which they conversed about current political affairs and reiterated their gratitude for Nawaz Sharif’s longstanding benevolence and leadership.
