The Meteorology Department predicts a mix of cloudiness and sporadic sunshine across various regions for the next week. Heavy rainfall is expected from March 30 to April 1, including potential hailstorms.
Met Department Director General Mehr Sahibzada Khan updated the weather outlook, noting the forecasted cloudy skies and intermittent sunshine. He highlighted the likelihood of heavy rainfall and hailstorms in certain areas between March 30 and April 1.
According to Khan, this upcoming rainy phase will maintain cloud cover throughout the next week, providing a cooler climate for the remainder of Ramazan.
Quetta has already experienced this shift, with rain and hail marking the beginning of the weather change. The Met Department anticipates these conditions to last another 24 hours, with rain expected to persist in northern Balochistan until March 29.
The Director General remarked that the forthcoming rains offer a respite from the recent warmth. However, he advises caution, urging residents to prepare for the expected downpours and hailstorms, especially in vulnerable areas.
