“Pakistan’s fast bowler, Wahab Riaz, has communicated his keenness to participate in the imminent training camps organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Wahab, who last represented Pakistan in international cricket in 2020, assured the media during the Torch ceremony of the Punjab Games at Kinnaird College, Lahore, that he has no immediate plans to retire. “I have no plans at this point to retire from cricket. I am fully focused on my future ventures, with diligent training and consistent bowling to maintain my rhythm,” Wahab asserted.
He appealed to the PCB to include him in the upcoming training camp. “A slot in the training camp will significantly enhance my bowling practice. Even a half-hour session in the camp would greatly benefit me,” he continued.
Recently, the men’s national selection committee extended invitations to players from Pakistan’s men’s, Shaheens, and U19 squads for training under the supervision of the national team’s coaches and those from NCA.
