Danielle Wyatt, the England cricket star known for her viral “Virat Kohli Marry Me” post, will join Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for the next Women’s Premier League (WPL) season.
RCB announced on Wednesday that Wyatt, who occasionally bowls off-break, will represent them in the TATA Women’s Premier League 2025.
The WPL stated, “Danni Wyatt, England’s attacking batter, will now play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru following a successful trade from UP Warriorz.”
UPW initially purchased Wyatt at the auction for INR 30 lakhs. She will continue with RCB at her existing fee.
With 164 T20 Internationals for England under her belt, Wyatt brings extensive experience to RCB and holds the record for the most appearances by an English player.
