President’s Pride of Performance Award winning Pakistani drama and film artist Iftikhar Qaisar passed away on Sunday in Peshawar.
Iftikhar Qaisar was under treatment since a week in Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital.
Following the news in the media that Iftikhar Qaisar was kept under the open sky for nine hours at Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital and was not admitted to the hospital’s ward. Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb said she had directed her ministry’s officials to ensure Qaisar was receiving proper medical care.
However, the Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital administration claimed the delay was due to Iftikhar’s test results.
