Modi met Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and other key US officials at the White House for a private dinner, ahead of formal talks in the Oval Office today.
During the meeting, both the leaders agreed on preventing proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, decreasing dependence on nuclear weapons and eliminating the menace of terrorism.
The White House said the United States will back reforms in the United Nations Security Council for India’s global role.
