Responding to the controversy, Rautela defended the choreography in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India. She clarified that the rehearsals went as planned, under the guidance of choreographer Master Shekar, with whom she has worked on multiple occasions. “During rehearsals, everything was smooth and under control,” Rautela stated, expressing surprise at the public’s reception of the dance sequence.
