A first look at the upcoming Luther spin-off movie will be released on Netflix.
The film will be a continuation of the successful BBC One series, which aired for five seasons up until 2019. The Netflix Original movie is being produced in collaboration with BBC Films.
The movie is directed by Jamie Payne and written by Neil Cross writing.
In addition to Peter Chernin, David Ready, and Jenno Topping, Idris Elba and David Cross served as producers for the feature picture. Kris Thykier, Priscilla Paris, Brendan Ferguson, Miki Emmrich, and Dan Finlay are among the producers who served in an executive capacity. Cynthia Erivo, Andy Serkis, and Dermot Crowley star in the show Luther alongside Idris Elba.
Elba’s character is seen in two new photographs released by Netflix. In one of the images, he is inside an underground train tunnel, while in the other, he is walking outside in a wintry landscape.
