The United Kingdom has deported Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt after revoking his visa. Sources told Geo News the content creator departed for Pakistan early Tuesday morning on a flight arranged following the expulsion orders.
The deportation resulted from the cancellation of his British visa, which was valid until 2027. Investigators found a key violation: Butt failed to disclose pending legal cases against him in Pakistan during his visa application. This omission prompted the UK Home Office to order his immediate departure.
The action followed an investigation launched several days ago. Britain’s MI-16 detained both Rajab Butt and fellow YouTuber Nadeem Naniwala after anonymous complaints alleged their involvement in terrorism-related activities.

Authorities released Nadeem Naniwala, a British national. However, they sent Butt’s documents to the Home Office for detailed scrutiny. This examination revealed the undeclared active cases in Pakistan. Pakistani institutions had reportedly already shared this information with UK authorities.
The British government issued a formal letter instructing Butt to leave the country without delay. A person close to Butt confirmed the deportation. Nadeem Naniwala also verified the development, stating he was accompanying Butt back to Pakistan.

The UK stated that the deportation followed immigration regulations for visa violations. This underscores the strict enforcement of disclosure requirements in the visa application process.
In a parallel development, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted protective bail to both Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala. The bail covers cybercrime and other pending cases registered against them in Pakistan.
Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas directed authorities not to arrest the two upon their arrival at Islamabad International Airport on Wednesday. The court ordered both men to appear before the IHC bench the following day as part of the protective bail conditions.
