The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has officially extended the online admission deadlines for medical and dental colleges across Punjab. The decision was made to facilitate a greater number of applicants and encourage maximum participation in the admission process.
The extension was approved at a meeting of the Provincial Admission Committee, chaired by the Secretary of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education, Azmat Mahmood. The session also included the vice-chancellors of public medical universities. According to a UHS spokesperson, the new deadlines are as follows:
- Public Sector Medical Colleges (MBBS): The new deadline for submitting application forms is November 30.
- Private Sector Medical Colleges (MBBS): The deadline has been extended to December 15.
- Public Sector Dental Colleges (BDS): Applicants now have until December 31 to submit their forms.
- Private Sector Dental Colleges (BDS): The final date for application submission is January 15, 2026.
The previous application cutoff date was November 21. The committee unanimously agreed to extend the timeline to provide more opportunities for prospective students. This move is designed to ensure that all eligible candidates have sufficient time to complete and submit their applications for the upcoming academic session.
