Two security personnel embraced martyrdom and three others sustained injuries as a remote controlled bomb went off targeting the security forces during operation in Rajgal area of Tirah valley of Khyber Agency, security official said on Wednesday.
The blast occurred at the time when security personnel were advancing towards terrorists hideouts.
Separately an ISPR release said that funeral prayer for two soldiers who embraced shahadat today in Khyber agency was offered in Corps HQ Peshawar.
Governor KP Mr Iqbal Zafar Jaghra, Corps Commander Lt Gen Hidayat ur Rehman and other civil and military officials attended the funeral.
Later the bodies were dispatched to their native towns in Sindh province. (APP)
