Two people were killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on them outside a school in the New Karachi area of the city earlier today.
The firing incident took place in the same vicinity as the attack on senior journalist Aftab Alam in which he was killed.
Police said the same group was involved in both attacks. SSP Central Muqadas Haider said the attackers had the same appearance and a new motorcycle was used in both attacks.
