A court clerk and a police personnel sustained injuries after a case property hand grenade bomb went off in an anti-terrorism court in the port city of Karachi.
According to sources, the court was hearing a case pertaining to possession of explosives. The court had summoned the case property.
The investigation officer presented case property in the court and when the clerk opened the bag the hand grenade exploded, wounding the court clerk and a police official.
Hearing was halted after the bomb exploded in the courtroom.
The injured were shifted to hospital and are currently under treatment.
